L’intelletto - non è ancora l’intelligenza / Intellect - is still not intelligence / Intellect - n’est pas encore l’intelligence

• L’intelletto non è ancora l’intelligenza e occorre imparare a distinguere tra i due. L’intelletto è uno strumento dato all’uomo perché possa cavarsela sul piano materiale, perché possa risolvere i problemi della vita quotidiana, studiare la Natura e trarre qualche conclusione da quello studio. L’intelligenza, invece, nel senso iniziatico del termine, è una facoltà ben superiore: posta al di sopra del piano astrale e mentale, ha la capacità di dominare i sentimenti, i pensieri e tutte le manifestazioni della vita psichica. È questa intelligenza che gli Iniziati considerano come la vera intelligenza; essa è legata al mondo della supercoscienza, che è il mondo divino. Tutti gli esseri che hanno imparato a lavorare dominando i propri pensieri, i propri sentimenti e legandosi alle regioni superiori per fare con queste degli scambi, sono stati capaci di realizzazioni sublimi. Sono loro che hanno permesso all’umanità di progredire veramente.
• Intellect is not intelligence, and you should learn to tell the difference between the two. The intellect is an instrument given to humans to cope on the material plane, to solve the problems of everyday life, to study nature with and draw a few conclusions from their study. Intelligence, on the other hand, in the initiatic sense of the word, is a much higher faculty; it is above the astral and mental planes and is capable of mastering feelings, thoughts and all manifestations of the psychic life.
  It is this intelligence that initiates consider to be true intelligence; it is connected to the world of superconsciousness, which is the divine world. All those who have learned how to work to master their thoughts and their feelings and connect to the higher regions and make exchanges with them, have been capable of sublime achievements. They are the ones who have enabled humanity to truly progress.
• Intellekt ist nicht gleich Intelligenz und man muss lernen, zwischen den beiden zu unterscheiden. Der Intellekt ist ein dem Menschen gegebenes Instrument, dank dem er sich auf der materiellen Ebene behauptet, die alltäglichen Probleme löst und die Natur studiert, um aus diesen Studien einige Schlüsse zu ziehen. Die Intelligenz hingegen, so wie sie die Eingeweihten verstehen, ist eine viel höher stehende Fähigkeit. Da sie sich oberhalb der Astral- und Mentalebene befindet, ist sie in der Lage, die Gefühle, Gedanken und alle Manifestationen des psychischen Lebens zu beherrschen.
  Gerade diese Intelligenz wird von den Eingeweihten als die wahre Intelligenz betrachtet; sie ist mit der Welt des Überbewusstseins, welche die göttliche Welt ist, verbunden. Alle Wesen, die gelernt haben, sich unter Beherrschung ihrer Gedanken und Gefühle mit den höheren Regionen zu verbinden und mit ihnen auszutauschen, waren zu erhabenen Verwirklichungen fähig. Sie haben es der Menschheit ermöglicht, wahrhaftig voranzukommen.
• L’intellect n’est pas l’intelligence et il faut apprendre à faire la différence entre les deux. L’intellect est un instrument donné à l’homme pour se tirer d’affaire dans le plan matériel, pour résoudre les problèmes de la vie courante, pour étudier la nature et tirer quelques conclusions de cette étude. Tandis que l’intelligence, au sens initiatique du terme, est une faculté bien supérieure : située au-dessus des plans astral et mental, elle a la capacité de maîtriser les sentiments, les pensées et toutes les manifestations de la vie psychique.
  C’est cette intelligence-là que les Initiés considèrent comme la véritable intelligence ; elle est liée au monde de la superconscience qui est le monde divin. Tous les êtres qui ont appris à travailler en maîtrisant leurs pensées et leurs sentiments, en se liant aux régions supérieures pour faire des échanges avec elles, ont été capables de réalisations sublimes. C’est eux qui ont permis à l’humanité de véritablement progresser.
