Numerosi sono gli oggetti simbolici che rappresentano l'essere umano. Fra  questi, si trova il caduceo di Hermes. I due serpenti che si incrociano da una  parte all'altra del bastone centrale, rappresentano le due correnti, positiva e  negativa, che ondeggiano da un lato all'altro della colonna vertebrale. Gli  induisti chiamano queste due correnti Ida e Pingala, e Sushumna il canale  centrale all'interno della colonna vertebrale. L'Iniziato è colui che sa lavorare con le due correnti: via via che procede nel suo lavoro, acquisisce  dei poteri che gli permettono di agire sulla natura, su se stesso e sugli  altri. Ecco perché si è fatto del caduceo un simbolo della medicina. Il caduceo di Hermes rappresenta tutta una filosofia e una disciplina di vita  fondate sui due principi. Esso ci insegna come lavorare con le due correnti,  positiva e negativa, che circolano nell'Universo. Un vero Iniziato lavora con i  due principi, conosce la potenza dei due principi come strumenti, come armi e  come rimedi: un tale Iniziato possiede i veri poteri. 
There are numerous symbolic objects representing the human being. Among these  is the caduceus of Hermes. The two snakes intertwined on either side of the  central staff are the two currents, positive and negative, which spiral around  the spinal column. The Hindus call these two currents ida and pingala, and the  central channel inside the spine they call sushumna. An initiate is someone who  knows how to work with these two currents: as their work progresses, they  acquire powers which enable them to act on nature, on themselves and on others.  This is why the caduceus has become a symbol of medicine. The caduceus of Hermes represents a whole philosophy and discipline of life  based on the two principles. It teaches us how to work with the two negative  and positive currents circulating in the universe. A true initiate working with  the two principles, who knows their power as instruments, as weapons and as  remedies, possesses true powers. 
Zahlreich sind die symbolischen Gegenstände, die den Menschen darstellen.  Einer von ihnen ist der Hermesstab. Die beiden Schlangen, die sich von den  Seiten eines Mittelstabes aus kreuzen, sind die beiden negativen und positiven  Ströme, die sich in Wellen auf jeder Seite der Wirbelsäule bewegen. Die Hindus  nennen diese beiden Ströme Ida und Pingala und bezeichnen den inneren Kanal der  Wirbelsäule als Sushumna. Der Eingeweihte ist derjenige, der mit diesen beiden  Strömen zu arbeiten weiß; im Laufe seiner Arbeit erwirbt er Fähigkeiten, die es  ihm erlauben, auf die Natur, auf sich selbst und auf die anderen einzuwirken.  Deshalb hat man den Hermesstab zu einem Symbol der Medizin gemacht. Der  Hermesstab stellt eine ganze Philosophie und eine Lebensdisziplin dar, die auf  den beiden Prinzipen aufbaut. Er lehrt uns, wie wir mit den beiden im Universum  kreisenden Strömen, dem positiven und dem negativen Strom, arbeiten können. Ein  wahrer Eingeweihter, der mit den beiden Prinzipien arbeitet, der die Macht der  beiden Prinzipien als Instrumente, Waffen und Heilmittel kennt, dieser  Eingeweihte besitzt die wahren Fähigkeiten.

Un véritable  Initié qui travaille avec les deux principes, qui connaît la puissance des deux  principes comme instruments, comme armes, comme remèdes, cet Initié possède les  pouvoirs véritables.
