Diavolo - l'avversario di dio; le conseguenze di tale pensare / Devil - implacable opponent of God: consequences of mistakenly seeing him as such / Diable - adversaire irréductible de Dieu : conséquences de cette erreur

• Facendo del diavolo il nemico irriducibile di Dio, quanti teologi hanno falsato l'immagine del Creatore e Signore dell'Universo! Se un'entità riesce a tenergli testa a tal punto, significa che quell'entità è altrettanto potente se non addirittura più potente di Lui. Direte che essi non lo hanno mai pensato... Ma sì! Ecco la prova: nella cristianità, per tutto il medioevo - e anche oltre - non appena alcuni uomini o donne manifestavano dei doni un po' eccezionali, li si accusava di aver ottenuto quei doni dal diavolo, di aver fatto un patto con lui. E purtroppo, è la Chiesa che ha contribuito a diffondere questa credenza. Sì, se il diavolo ha occupato un tale posto nella cristianità, è la Chiesa ad esserne responsabile. Qualcuno profetizzava, guariva gli ammalati o riceveva messaggi dal Cielo? Ah no, non era il Cielo, ma il diavolo a ispirarlo. Quindi, non bisogna stupirsi se taluni hanno realmente voluto fare un patto con lui: perché - si chiedevano - andare a servire un Dio incapace, visto che tutte le conoscenze e tutti i doni vengono dal suo avversario, il diavolo? In certo qual modo, ragionavano bene. Allora, ecco a quali assurdità approda la religione quando non possiede il vero sapere iniziatico sul bene e sul male. 
• So many theologians have distorted the image of the Creator and Master of the universe by making the devil into God's implacable enemy! An entity that is so well able to stand up to God has to be as powerful as he is, if not more powerful. You will say they never thought such a thing... But they did, and the proof is that, in Christendom, throughout the Middle Ages and well beyond, men and women who displayed gifts that were a little exceptional were accused of having received these gifts from the devil, of having made a pact with him. And, unfortunately, the Church itself contributed to the spreading of this belief.
  Yes, if the devil has held such an important position among Christians, it is the Church itself that is responsible. If anyone prophesied, healed the sick or received messages from heaven - oh no, it wasn't heaven inspiring them but the devil. So, we should not be surprised if some people really did want to make a pact with him. Why, they asked themselves, should we go and serve a powerless God, since all the knowledge and gifts come from his opponent, the devil? Their thinking was right, in a way. So, that is the kind of nonsense religion can lead to when it does not possess true initiatic knowledge concerning good and evil.
• Wie sehr haben die Theologen das Bild des Schöpfers, des Herrn des Universums verfälscht, indem sie den Teufel zum unbezwingbaren Feind Gottes machten! Wenn ein Wesen sich Ihm derart widersetzen kann, dann muss es doch ebenso mächtig oder sogar noch mächtiger als Er sein. Ihr werdet sagen, dass sie so etwas nie gedacht haben… Doch, und der Beweis: Während des Mittelalters, und noch lange danach, hat man im Christentum Männer und Frauen, sobald sie außergewöhnliche Gaben zeigten, beschuldigt, diese Gaben vom Teufel erhalten und mit ihm einen Pakt geschlossen zu haben. Unglücklicherweise hat die Kirche dazu beigetragen, diesen Glauben zu verbreiten. Ja, wenn der Teufel einen solchen Platz in der Christenheit einnehmen konnte, so ist die Kirche dafür verantwortlich. Jemand machte Prophezeiungen, heilte Kranke oder erhielt Botschaften vom Himmel? Aber nein, das konnte unmöglich der Himmel sein, der ihn inspirierte, sondern nur der Teufel. Daher braucht man sich nicht zu wundern, wenn einige wirklich mit ihm einen Pakt abschließen wollten: Warum, sagten sie sich, soll ich einem unfähigen Gott dienen, wenn doch alle Kenntnisse und alle Begabungen von seinem Gegner, dem Teufel kommen? So gesehen sind ihre Überlegungen richtig. Da sieht man, zu welchen Absurditäten die Religion führt, wenn sie nicht das wahre Einweihungswissen über Gut und Böse besitzt.
• En faisant du diable l’ennemi irréductible de Dieu, combien de théologiens ont faussé l’image du Créateur et Maître de l’univers ! Si une entité arrive à ce point à Lui tenir tête, c’est qu’elle est aussi puissante, ou même plus puissante que Lui. Vous direz qu’ils n’ont jamais pensé cela… Mais si, la preuve : dans la chrétienté, tout au long du Moyen-Âge, et bien au-delà, dès que des hommes ou des femmes manifestaient des dons un peu exceptionnels, on les accusait de tenir ces dons du diable, d’avoir fait un pacte avec lui. Et, malheureusement, c’est l’Église qui a contribué à répandre cette croyance.
  Oui, si le diable a tenu une telle place dans la chrétienté, c’est l’Église qui en est responsable. Quelqu’un prophétisait, guérissait des malades, ou recevait des messages du Ciel ? Ah non, ce n’était pas le Ciel, mais le diable qui l’inspirait. Alors, il ne faut pas s’étonner si certains ont réellement voulu faire un pacte avec lui : pourquoi, se disaient-ils, aller servir un Dieu incapable, puisque toutes les connaissances et tous les dons viennent de son adversaire, le diable ? D’une certaine manière, ils raisonnaient bien. Alors, voilà à quelles absurdités aboutit la religion quand elle ne possède pas le véritable savoir initiatique sur le bien et le mal.
