• Simbolicamente, in una famiglia, il padre rappresenta la testa, ed è per questo che in linea di massima tutto gira attorno a lui. È lui che ha l'incarico di mantenere la coesione della famiglia. Se i membri della famiglia non sono collegati alla testa, se non sono in armonia con essa, oppure se la testa se ne va, o ancora se non è all'altezza del proprio compito, tutto si smembra e la famiglia va a rotoli. È lo stesso per un paese: se la testa non svolge il proprio ruolo o se scompare, è il caos. Persino i briganti, persino gli animali lo hanno capito: cercano una testa che li diriga. Perché, allora, persone reputate intelligenti non hanno capito che anche nella vita spirituale, è necessaria, indispensabile, una testa, ossia un Maestro? Che quel Maestro sia vivo oppure morto, egli è la testa che mantiene l'unità della loro vita interiore.

Wenn die Familienmitglieder nicht mit diesem Kopf verbunden und in Harmonie sind oder wenn der Kopf weggeht oder seiner Aufgabe nicht gewachsen ist, geht es bergab mit der Familie und alles löst sich auf. Das Gleiche geschieht in einem Land: Wenn der Kopf seine Rolle nicht richtig spielt oder wenn er verschwindet, gibt es Chaos. Sogar die Betrüger und auch die Tiere haben das verstanden, sie alle suchen einen Kopf, der sie führt. Warum haben aber Menschen, die man als intelligent bezeichnet, nicht verstanden, dass auch im spirituellen Leben ein Kopf, ein Meister notwendig und unverzichtbar ist? Ob der Meister lebendig oder tot ist, er ist der Kopf, der die Einheit ihres inneren Lebens aufrechterhält.

Si les membres de la famille ne sont pas liés à cette tête, en harmonie avec elle, ou bien si la tête s’en va, ou encore si elle n’est pas à la hauteur de sa tâche, tout se disloque, la famille périclite. Il en est de même dans un pays : si la tête ne joue pas son rôle ou si elle disparaît, c’est la pagaille. Même les brigands, même les animaux ont compris cela : ils cherchent une tête qui les dirige. Alors, pourquoi des gens qu’on dit intelligents n’ont-ils pas compris que dans la vie spirituelle aussi, une tête, un Maître, est nécessaire, indispensable ? Que ce Maître soit vivant ou mort, il est la tête qui maintient l’unité de leur vie intérieure.
