Per chi le sa interpretare, le carte dei Tarocchi sono ricche di significato.  Prendiamo la prima carta, il Bagatto, che corrisponde alla prima lettera  dell'alfabeto ebraico, Aleph. Essa rappresenta un uomo in piedi davanti a un  tavolo, un braccio alzato, l'altro abbassato. Si tratta dunque di un uomo che  agisce. Ma cosa fa? Tramite il braccio alzato egli è in contatto con il Cielo,  e tramite il braccio abbassato lo è con la terra, con gli esseri umani. Le  forze del Cielo che riceve lo attraversano, e lui le dà alla terra. Egli è la  lettera Aleph a che schematicamente assomiglia ad un uomo con un braccio teso  verso il cielo e l'altro teso verso la terra.  Ma essere "Aleph", significa anche saper prendere le forze della terra e  proiettarle verso il Cielo, quindi manifestarsi come intermediario. È quello  che Gesù ha espresso dicendo: "Nessuno può andare al Padre se non attraverso  me". Aleph è un simbolo dell'uomo perfetto, perché essendo collegato al Cielo,  egli lavora per la terra, per tutta l'umanità. 
Tarot cards are full of meaning, if you know how to interpret them. Take the  first card, the Magician, which corresponds to the first Hebrew letter, Aleph.  It shows a man standing before a table, with one arm raised and the other  lowered. So this man is performing an action. But what is it? His raised arm  connects him with heaven, and his lowered arm with the earth, with humans. The  forces he receives from heaven pass through him, and he gives them to the  earth. He is the letter Aleph (a), which schematically resembles someone with  one arm reaching toward the sky and the other reaching toward the earth.  But to be Aleph also means knowing how to take the forces of the earth and  project them towards heaven, in other words how to act as an intermediary. This  is what Jesus was expressing when he said, 'No one comes to the Father, except  through me.' Aleph is a symbol for the perfect human being, who is linked to  heaven and therefore works for the earth and all of humanity.
Für denjenigen, der sie zu interpretieren weiß, sind die Tarotkarten voller  Sinn. Nehmen wir die erste Karte, den Magier, der dem ersten Buchstaben des  hebräischen Alphabets, dem Buchstaben Aleph, entspricht. Sie stellt einen Mann  dar, der mit einem nach oben und einem nach unten gestreckten Arm vor einem  Tisch steht. Es ist also ein Mann, der dabei ist, zu handeln. Aber was tut er?  Durch den hoch gestreckten Arm ist er im Kontakt mit dem Himmel und durch den  nach unten gestreckten Arm ist er mit der Erde, mit den Menschen in Verbindung.  Die Kräfte des Himmels, die er empfängt, durchströmen ihn, er gibt sie an die  Erde weiter. Es ist der Buchstabe Aleph a, der schematisch einem Mann mit einem  zum Himmel und einem zur Erde gerichteten Arm ähnelt. Aber Aleph zu sein  bedeutet auch, dass man in der Lage ist, die Kräfte der Erde aufzunehmen und  sie zum Himmel zu strahlen; es bedeutet also, als Übermittler zu handeln. Das  ist es, was Jesus ausdrückte, als er sagte: »Niemand kommt zum Vater denn durch  mich« (Jh 14,6). Aleph ist ein Symbol des vollkommenen Menschen, weil dieser,  während er mit dem Himmel verbunden ist, gleichzeitig für die Erde, für die  gesamte Menschheit arbeitet. 
Pour celui qui sait les interpréter, les cartes du Tarot sont pleines de  sens. Prenons la première carte, le Bateleur, qui correspond à la première  lettre de l’alphabet hébraïque : Aleph. Elle représente un homme debout devant  une table, un bras levé, l’autre baissé. C’est donc un homme en train d’agir.  Mais que fait-il ? Par le bras levé il est en contact avec le Ciel, et par le  bras baissé il est en contact avec la terre, avec les humains. Les forces du  Ciel qu’il reçoit le traversent, et il les donne à la terre. Il est la lettre  Aleph (a) qui, schématiquement, ressemble à un homme avec un bras tendu vers le  ciel et un autre tendu vers la terre. Mais être Aleph, c’est aussi savoir prendre les forces de la terre et les  projeter vers le Ciel, donc se manifester comme un intermédiaire. C’est ce que  Jésus a exprimé en disant : « Nul ne peut aller au Père que par moi. » Aleph  est un symbole de l’homme parfait, parce qu’étant lié au Ciel, il travaille  pour la terre, pour toute l’humanité.
