Missione - colui che falisce non può che soffrire / Mission - those who fail can only suffer / Mission - celui qui y manque ne peut que souffrir

• Certi esseri scendono sulla terra con una missione; tuttavia può accadere che se ne allontanino e cedano a certe tentazioni, al punto che in essi non resta più nulla a ricordare loro le promesse che hanno fatto. È così che nella storia si sono visti spiriti eccelsi, Iniziati, dimenticare la propria missione per andare a perdersi su un altro cammino. È una delle difficoltà della vita spirituale: riuscire a ricordarsi, almeno confusamente, della promessa fatta dinanzi al Cielo, e mettere tutto in opera per portarla a termine sapendo smascherare persone e situazioni che possono rappresentare dei pericoli. Sì, perché insidie d'ogni genere vengono anche messe sul cammino degli esseri più evoluti. Quelli che vanno a smarrirsi così seguendo delle scorciatoie, possono solo soffrire, perché si avventurano in regioni che non sono per loro. Altri vi si trovano benissimo? È normale: esse corrispondono al loro grado di evoluzione. Ma coloro che erano destinati a vivere e a lavorare in regioni superiori, dove nulla sarebbe mancato loro per assolvere il proprio compito, sono perseguitati da terribili tormenti.
• Some beings come down to the earth with a mission, but it may happen that they stray away from it and give in to certain temptations, until nothing remains in them to remind them of the promises they made. Throughout history we come across very great spirits, initiates, who forgot their mission and strayed onto some other path. It is one of the difficulties of spiritual life: are we able to remember, at least vaguely, the promise made before heaven, do everything possible to fulfil it and, at the same time, know how to detect those people and situations which could present any danger? For the most evolved beings also have all kinds of pitfalls placed along their path.
  Those who become sidetracked in this way can only suffer, for they venture into regions that are not for them. Others may feel fine there, and that is normal, for such regions correspond to their level of evolution. But those who were meant to live and work in higher regions, where nothing is lacking to allow them to fulfil their task, are haunted by terrible anguish. 
• Bestimmte Wesen kommen mit einer Mission auf die Erde, aber es kann passieren, dass sie sich davon abwenden und bestimmten Versuchungen erliegen, bis in ihnen nichts mehr übrig ist, was sie an die gegebenen Versprechen erinnern könnte. Die Geschichte hat gezeigt, dass sehr große Geister, Eingeweihte, ihre Mission vergaßen, um sich auf Abwegen zu verlieren. Das ist eine der Schwierigkeiten des geistigen Lebens: sich zumindest undeutlich an das vor dem Himmel abgelegte Versprechen zu erinnern und alles für seine Erfüllung in Bewegung zu setzen. Es gilt dabei, jene Personen und Situationen zu entlarven, die eine Gefahr darstellen können, denn alle möglichen Fallen sind auch auf dem Weg der weit entwickelten Wesen aufgestellt. Diejenigen, die sich so auf Querwegen verirren, können gar nicht anders als leiden, weil sie sich in Regionen wagen, die nicht für sie bestimmt sind. Andere fühlen sich dort sehr wohl? Das ist normal, denn diese Regionen entsprechen ihrem Entwicklungsgrad. Aber jene, die dafür bestimmt waren, in höheren Regionen zu leben und zu arbeiten, dort wo es ihnen zur Erfüllung ihrer Aufgabe an nichts fehlte, werden von schrecklichen Qualen verfolgt.
• Certains êtres descendent sur la terre avec une mission, mais il peut arriver qu’ils s’en écartent et cèdent à certaines tentations au point qu’il ne reste plus rien en eux pour leur rappeler les promesses qu’ils ont faites. C’est ainsi qu’on a vu dans l’histoire de très grands esprits, des Initiés, oublier leur mission pour aller se perdre sur une autre voie. C’est une des difficultés de la vie spirituelle : arriver à se souvenir, au moins confusément, de la promesse faite devant le Ciel et mettre tout en œuvre pour l’accomplir en sachant démasquer les personnes et les situations qui peuvent représenter des dangers. Car toutes sortes d’embûches sont aussi placées sur la route des êtres les plus évolués.
  Ceux qui vont ainsi s’égarer sur des chemins de traverse, ne peuvent que souffrir, car ils s’aventurent dans des régions qui ne sont pas pour eux. D’autres s’y trouvent très bien ? C’est normal, elles correspondent à leur degré d’évolution. Mais ceux qui étaient destinés à vivre et à travailler dans des régions supérieures où rien ne leur manquait pour remplir leur tâche, sont poursuivis par de terribles tourments.
