• Finché gli esseri umani non saranno capaci di costruire in se stessi un santuario interiore come dimora per le entità spirituali, niente proibisce loro di ricorrere alle icone e alle statue, anche inginocchiandosi davanti a queste per manifestare il proprio bisogno di adorazione del Principio divino. L’essenziale è abituarsi a volgere il pensiero verso entità superiori affinché vengano ad abitare in noi, e avanzare così sul cammino mantenendo sempre la mente nella luce. Non appena sentite sopraggiungere la tristezza e lo scoraggiamento, rivolgetevi agli spiriti celesti. Anche se non conoscete i tratti del loro volto, non importa; pronunciate il loro nome, perché quel nome è già un’immagine, e la lettera mentale che invierete raggiungerà il suo destinatario. È dunque importante conoscere almeno il nome delle entità dalle quali volete farvi udire.
• So long as human beings are unable to build an inner sanctuary as a place for spiritual entities, there is nothing to stop them from resorting to icons or statues, even prostrating themselves before them, to express the need they have to adore the divine Principle. The main thing is that they should acquire the habit of turning their thoughts to higher entities, so that these will come to dwell in them, and that they go forward on the path with their head always in the light.
  As soon as you feel sadness or discouragement taking hold of you, turn to the heavenly spirits. And even if you do not know how to visualize their features, it doesn’t really matter. Say their name, for the name itself is an image, and the letter you are sending in your thoughts will reach whoever it is addressed to. So it is important to at least know the name of the entities whose attention you are seeking.

Sprecht ihren Namen aus, denn der Name ist an sich bereits ein Bild, und dieser von euch abgeschickte mentale Brief, wird seinen Empfänger erreichen. Es ist also wichtig, wenigstens den Namen jener Wesen zu kennen, von denen ihr gehört werden wollt.

Et même si vous ne savez pas quels traits, quel visage leur donner, ce n’est pas si important ; prononcez leur nom, car le nom, lui, est déjà une image, et cette lettre mentale que vous envoyez atteindra son destinataire. Il est donc important de connaître au moins le nom des entités dont vous voulez vous faire entendre.

E mesmo que não saibais que traços, que rosto lhes atribuir, isso não é importante; pronunciai o seu nome, pois o nome é já uma imagem e essa imagem mental que enviais chegará ao seu destinatário. É importante, pois, conhecerdes pelo menos o nome das entidades por quem pretendeis ser ouvidos.
