«Voi siete dèi» / Human being - a divinity who does not yet know how to reveal itself / Être humain - une divinité qui ne sait pas encore se manifester

• Anche se date l'impressione di esagerare un po’ quando parlate delle buone qualità di qualcuno, in realtà non esagerate, perché menzionando quelle qualità fate riferimento al suo vero sé, al suo Sé superiore. Quante volte le persone fanno commenti sugli altri! Ma non è realmente di loro che parlano: l'aspetto fisico, il comportamento, certi tratti del carattere... nessuno di questi aspetti li rappresenta. Allora, cosa sono veramente quegli esseri? Delle divinità. È detto nei Salmi: «Voi siete dèi», e queste parole sono state riprese da Gesù nel Vangelo di Giovanni. Certo, per il momento quegli dèi non li si vede tanto manifestarsi: sono sepolti chissà dove, sommersi sotto strati opachi, in attesa di essere scoperti! Ma non basta aspettare: occorre lavorare!
• Even if it sounds as if you are exaggerating a little when you speak of someone’s good qualities, you are not really exaggerating, for in mentioning these qualities you are referring to their true self, their higher self. People are forever making comments about others! But it is not really them they are talking about: their physical appearance, their behaviour and the particular character traits they possess – none of it is them. So, what are they really? Divinities.
  The Psalms tell us, ‘You are gods’, and these words were taken up by Jesus in the Gospel of St John. For the time being, of course, we don’t see much in the way of gods revealing themselves: they are buried somewhere, hidden under opaque layers, waiting to be discovered! But it’s not enough just to wait; you have to work at it.
• Selbst wenn man meinen könnte, ihr übertreibt, während ihr die guten Eigenschaften von jemandem beschreibt, ist dies doch nicht der Fall, denn indem ihr diese Qualitäten erwähnt, bezieht ihr euch auf sein wahres Ich, auf sein höheres Selbst. Wie oft machen die Leute Kommentare über andere! Aber sie sprechen nicht wirklich von ihnen: Ihr Aussehen, ihr Verhalten, bestimmte Charaktereigenschaften, das alles sind nicht sie selbst. Wer sind sie also wirklich? Gottheiten.
  Es heißt in den Psalmen: »Ihr seid Götter«, und diese Worte wurden von Jesus im Johannesevangelium wieder aufgenommen. Natürlich sieht man diese Götter im Moment noch nicht sich besonders zu offenbaren. Sie sind irgendwo vergraben, verborgen unter dicken Schichten und warten darauf, entdeckt zu werden! Aber es genügt nicht, zu warten, man muss arbeiten.
• Même si vous avez l’air d’exagérer un peu quand vous parlez des bonnes qualités de quelqu’un, non, vous n’exagérez pas, car en mentionnant ces qualités, vous faites allusion à son vrai moi, son Moi supérieur. Combien de fois les gens font des commentaires sur les autres ! Mais ce n’est pas réellement d’eux qu’ils parlent : leur apparence physique, leur comportement, certains traits de leur caractère, tout cela, ce n’est pas eux. Alors, que sont-ils vraiment ? Des divinités.
  Il est dit dans les Psaumes : « Vous êtes des dieux », et ces paroles ont été reprises par Jésus dans l’Évangile de saint Jean. Ces dieux, bien sûr, pour le moment on ne les voit pas tellement se manifester : ils sont enterrés quelque part, enfouis sous des couches opaques, attendant d’être découverts ! Mais il ne suffit pas d’attendre, il faut travailler.
