Infine, decide di mettersi al lavoro per realizzare il suo progetto. Quindi, si può dire che il saggio, dopo aver concepito bene qualcosa col pensiero, lo rafforza e lo vivifica con un sentimento d'amore, e infine lo realizza grazie a una volontà priva di imperfezioni. Vediamo ora come si comporta la maggior parte degli esseri umani. Essi si lanciano bruscamente nell'azione senza aver studiato bene il progetto, si scontrano ovviamente con degli ostacoli, soffrono, si lamentano, ed è solo dopo essersi ben lamentati che finiscono per riflettere sulle cause dei loro fallimenti. Ebbene, è un po' tardi: occorreva incominciare partendo dalla riflessione.

They launch suddenly into action without having properly studied the plan; then, obviously, they come up against obstacles, they suffer and lament, and it is only after having thoroughly lamented that they end up reflecting on the reasons for their failure. Well, it's a bit late then; they should have reflected in the first place.

Nun, das ist ein bisschen spät, sie hätten mit dem Nachdenken beginnen sollen.

  Et voyons maintenant comment s’y prennent la majorité des humains. Ils se lancent brusquement dans l’action sans avoir bien étudié le projet, ils se heurtent évidemment à des obstacles, ils souffrent, ils se lamentent, et ce n’est qu’après s’être bien lamentés qu’ils finissent par réfléchir aux causes de leurs échecs. Eh bien, c’est un peu tard, il fallait commencer par la réflexion.
