"Il tempo è compiuto. Il Regno di Dio è vicino" / ‘The Kingdom of God is near’ - commentary / « Royaume (Le) de Dieu est proche » - commentaire

• "Il tempo è compiuto. Il Regno di Dio è vicino", diceva Gesù. Molti faranno notare che sono trascorsi duemila anni da quando egli pronunciò queste parole, e che il Regno di Dio è ancora ben lontano: la Terra è sempre il luogo di tante disgrazie, miserie, carestie, guerre! Come comprendere allora questa profezia? Con il suo insegnamento Gesù gettava le basi del Regno di Dio. Per coloro che lo hanno compreso, quel Regno è già arrivato. Sì, esso è già arrivato nell'anima e nel cuore di coloro che erano sufficientemente pronti affinché esso vi si instaurasse, e di coloro che erano capaci di accettare e applicare il suo insegnamento d'amore. Per altri è vicino, sta arrivando. E per una terza categoria, arriverà... non si sa quando! Dunque, il Regno di Dio è già arrivato, sta arrivando e arriverà... le tre affermazioni sono ugualmente veritiere.
• 'The time is fulfilled. The kingdom of God is near,' said Jesus. Many people will point out that two thousand years have gone by since he said these words, and the kingdom of God is still a long way off - the earth is still such a place of unhappiness, poverty, famine and war! So how are we to understand this prophecy?
  Through his teaching, Jesus was laying the foundations of the kingdom of God. For those who have understood him, it has already come. Yes, in the souls and hearts of those who were sufficiently prepared for the teaching to take a hold, who were able to accept and apply his teaching about love, it has already come. For others, it is close, it is coming. And for a third category, it will come, but who knows when! So, it has come, it is coming and it will come - all three statements are equally true.
• »Die Zeit ist gekommen, das Reich Gottes ist nahe«, sagte Jesus. Viele werden einwenden, dass zweitausend Jahre vergangen sind, seitdem er diese Worte ausgesprochen hat und dass das Reich Gottes wohl noch weit weg ist: Die Erde ist immer noch ein Ort voller Unglück, Elend, Hunger und Krieg! Wie also soll man diese Prophezeiung verstehen? Durch seine Lehre hat Jesus die Fundamente des Gottesreiches errichtet. Für diejenigen, die sie verstanden haben, ist es bereits gekommen. Ja, in der Seele und im Herzen jener, die ausreichend vorbereitet waren, damit es sich dort niederließ und jener, die fähig waren, seine Lehre der Liebe zu akzeptieren und anzuwenden, ist es schon gekommen. Für andere ist es nahe, ist es im Begriff zu kommen und für eine dritte Kategorie wird es kommen, aber man weiß nicht wann. Also, es ist bereits gekommen, es kommt und es wird kommen... die drei Behauptungen sind alle gleich wahr. 
• « Le temps est accompli. Le Royaume de Dieu est proche », disait Jésus. Beaucoup feront remarquer que deux mille ans se sont écoulés depuis qu’il a prononcé ces paroles et que le Royaume de Dieu est encore bien loin : la terre est toujours le lieu de tellement de malheurs, de misères, de famines, de guerres ! Alors comment comprendre cette prophétie ?
  Par son enseignement Jésus jetait les bases du Royaume de Dieu. Pour ceux qui l’ont compris il est déjà venu. Oui, dans l’âme et le cœur de ceux qui étaient suffisamment prêts pour qu’il s’y installe, de ceux qui étaient capables d’accepter et d’appliquer son enseignement d’amour, il est déjà venu. Pour d’autres, il est proche, il est en train de venir. Et pour une troisième catégorie, il viendra… on ne sait pas quand ! Donc, il est déjà venu, il vient et il viendra… les trois affirmations sont également véridiques.
