• Der Vorgang der Sublimierung der Sexualkraft kann auf verschiedene Weise symbolisiert werden. Der Baum des Lebens ist eine dieser Darstellungsformen. Auf dem mittleren Pfeiler, den man der Wirbelsäule gleichsetzen kann, sind von unten nach oben die drei Sephiroth Jesod, Tiphereth und Kether angeordnet. Von Jesod über Tiphereth nach Kether verläuft symbolisch der Weg der sublimierten Sexualkraft. Am höchsten Ende des mittleren Pfeilers befindet sich die Heiligkeit von Kether, das gekrönte Haupt, das seinen Ursprung in der Reinheit von Jesod, den Geschlechtsorganen hat. Die Heiligkeit von Kether ist die Sexualkraft, welche der Schüler dank der Macht von Tiphereth (der Sonne), nach oben zu lenken versucht, bis sie oben, über seinem Kopf wie ein goldenes Licht erstrahlt.
